Nam is a Sr. Vice President and Director of Walker Restoration Consultants. He joined Walker in 1998 and has over 35 years of experience identifying contributing causes of noted distresses and construction related defects. Nam has worked with building owners, property management companies, insurance companies, healthcare facilities, and government agencies. Currently, he is focusing on façade and curtain wall evaluations; building leakage evaluations; distress investigation, expert witnessing, and repair design for corrosion related deterioration.

Nam has investigated deteriorating pre-stressed concrete decks, pre-cast concrete and brick building facades, balconies, terraces, highway and railway bridges, and high-rise buildings. He is also routinely used non-destructive testing such as impact-echo tests and ground penetrating radar tests.

 

Nam chairs the Vision 2020 Initiative for the Concrete Repair Industry and is a Board Member of the Strategic Development Council of American Concrete Institute (ACI).
