12 PARKING STRUCTURES - $4.0 MILLION ASSET MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - 1 PARKING CONSULTANT

As the University of Florida has expanded, so have its parking needs.  Today, they have over 8,900 parking spaces in twelve different structures, each ranging in age from 35 years old to new, the last one completed in 2003.  Walker Parking Consultants designed seven of the twelve structures, including two expansions.  The University of Florida needed help managing all of their parking structures.  Walker Parking Consultants evaluated each structure and designed an eight-year maintenance plan for these important infrastructure assets.  This approach provides the University with invaluable planning and budgeting information.  It also ensures minimal service interruptions when repairs become necessary.
